Bikini buddies! Lea Michele tans her toned body as she celebrates her friend's birthday with a getaway to Mexico
It is a hard life having a celebrity as a friend.
While most people might bring their friend a cake on their birthday, Lea Michele made sure to bring extra glee to her friend on her special day - by heading to Mexico.
Making sure they celebrated in style, the pair lapped up the south of the boarder sunshine at a luxury Cabo San Lucas resort.

Lea and friend, jewelry designer Jennifer Cohen, had the stunning location's pool all to themselves for their very fabulous girl's weekend away.
And the pair definitely made the most of it, donning the skimpiest bikinis possible to ensure they got great tans but no tan lines.
Clearly as the Glee star's olive toned skin showed, by Monday the pair had already been putting in a lot of time in their bikinis.
Lea showed off her supremely toned figure in as blue ruffled triangle bikini top and ultra brief black and white bottoms.
Making it the ultimate girly day the pair reclined on pool loungers listening to music and reading magazines.
And when the Mexican sun became too hot, the friends retreated to the cool waters of their private pool.
However, Lea may have caught a little bit too much sun with the 26-year-old stopping to point out to her friend her increasingly tanned skin on her chest.
The 26-year-old did make sure to protect her eyes from the sun's harsh rays wearing a large pair of oversized sunglasses.
All the sunshine and relaxation was exactly what the doctor ordered for the star who has had a tough few months.
Lea tweeted on Monday: 'Such a fun weekend getaway with @SwitchBH! Feeling so revived & refreshed!'
At the end of March Lea was dealt a blow when her boyfriend and co-star Cory Montieth checked himself into rehab for a substance addiction.
The actor has has admitted to battling drug issues throughout adulthood, since he first checked himself into rehab at age 19.
The Glee star spent over a month in in-patient treatment and missed filming a number of episodes of the couple's show.
However, now he is in recovery Lea can take some time out for herself and relax.
The getaway will likely to be one of Lea's last breaks for a while as she is once again reprising her role as Rachel Berry on her hit Fox show Glee.
The fifth season of the popular series will begin airing new episodes on September 19.
